SSS Student of the Year Nancy Cardoza
Once a year as students prepare to graduate and move on we always seem to recognize their achievements. Student Support Services is no different; we understand the hard work and dedication needed to be successful in college. For the 2006-2007 year, we recognize Nancy Cardoza as the SSS student of the year.
Nancy has been very active here at SCCC, she is a member of HALO, been tutoring for 1 1/2 years for the Academic Achievement Center, a Peer Mentor for SSS for 6 months and on the dean's honor roll spring 2007. She will receive the Ella Kennedy and the OAS Transfer scholarships at KU.
Nancy began in our program 2 years ago and recently graduated, she will be transferring to Univ of Kansas in August to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and then will go on to become a lawyer. We wish Nancy well in all her endeavors.
