Admissions Procedures: New Students


  1. Complete an Application for Admission.
  1. Submit an official high school transcript (including final grades, grade point average, class ranking, and date of graduation) or an official copy of a GED Certificate.
  2. Submit official transcript from each college/university attended.
  3. Submit ACT scores or take the COMPASS Placement Assessment given at SCCC/ATS. Contact Sharon Brockmann at 620-417-1609 to schedule a COMPASS assessment.
  4. Complete a Scholarship Application and submit to the Financial Aid Office; April 1 for Fall Semester and November 1 for Spring Semester are priority dates, although applications are accepted throughout the year.
  5. Complete a Free Application for Student Financial Aid (FAFSA) for Federal Aid.
  6. Schedule an appointment time for an All Saints Day (enrollment day) and/or meet with an advisor.
  7. Complete the registration/enrollment process as instructed by the Admissions Office.
  8. For students wanting to live in the Student Living Center, complete Student Housing Contract and submit with required deposit.
