Scholarship and Tuition Grant Application for returning students

In order to be considered for an institutional scholarship (book scholarship, academic scholarship) or a tuition grant for this next school year 2013-2014, you must fill out a Scholarship and Tuition GrantApplication. The priority deadline to do this is April 1, 2013. These scholarships/grants are on a first come/first serve basis, so the sooner the Financial Aid Office receives your application the better the chance you have of being a recipient. There are some other qualifications you have to meet to be eligible as well. For all scholarships you must maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA and be enrolled in at least 15 credit hours each semester. For the Tuition Grant you must maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA, be enrolled in at least 15 credit hours for the Full-time grant and at least 6 hours for the Part-time grant, and be involved in a club or organization on campus if you are receiving the Full-time grant. Applications can be picked up in the Financial Aid office.

FAFSA Frenzy

The Financial Aid office will hosting it's 2nd annual FAFSA Frenzy!This event will be held on Tuesday, April 30th from 3-6 PM in room A136 which is located in the Hobble building by the Registrar's Office. Volunteers will be present to help current students fill out their FAFSA for the 2013-2014 school year. Students will need to bring their/their parents' 2012 tax return and W-2s, and will need to know their parents' Social Security Number/date of birth/marital status with month and year. Parents are welcome to attend with their student. For more information contact the Financial Aid office at 417-1110 or come see us Monday-Friday from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM.
