STUDENT ACTIVITIES

The Student Activities program at Seward County Community College functions as a life laboratory, contributing to the enrichment of the academic program and providing student experiences that are enjoyable and pointed toward developing the student's interests and talents.

Student organizations on campus provide activities for a student's leisure time. Many of these organizations are an extension of the classroom while others may be recreational, social, or special interest groups. Student organizations are officially recognized by the Student Government Association. Information regarding organizations on campus may be found in the Student Services Office.

The college has an intramural program which allows all students the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports and activities. All of the facilities of the Student Activities Center, including the swimming pool, are available to students during established hours for recreational and intramural activities.
