The Truck Driving course at Seward County Community College AreauTechnical School offers opportunities for both men and women. Truck driving is one of the fastest growing job markets in the country, and demand for more truck drivers will be even greater in the future. Drivers can travel alone or husband and wife can join the ranks of a growing number of teams who share driving time on the road.
Students who successfully complete the program will receive their CDL with tanker, double, triple, and airbrake endorsements.
Students will learn all safety aspects of operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle - How to drive, shift, back a Commercial Motor Vehicle; how to maneuver a Commercial Motor Vehicle in heavy traffic.
