About the Program

The Automotive Mechanics Technology (High School) program at Seward County Community College / Area Technical School is a two-year program for high school juniors and seniors. Students attend class three hours per day for two academic years. The curriculum emphasizes engine repair, brakes, steering and suspension, wheel alignment and heating and air conditioning. Students learn basic automotive electrical and engine performance. The course is directed toward preparing students for entry level positions in the automotive field. |
