Cosmetology Financial Aid Interview Form

 

 

Financial Aid at Seward County Community/Area Technical School is for the purpose of encouraging academic excellence. Students whose designated area of study is Cosmetology at SCCC/ATS need to follow the following process:

 

1.       Applicants are required to schedule an appointment with the Student Financial Aid Office personnel by calling 620-417-1110 for an appointment.

2.       All students must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and a SCCC Scholarship Grant Application if available.

3.       The applications must be completed fully and accurately according to their individual directions.

4.       Applications must be submitted yearly as the student financial year runs July 1 to the following June 30.

 

Types of Financial Aid

1.       Grants & Scholarships – money you do not have to pay back

2.       Work Study – Money you earned from work that you use to pay educational expenses.

3.       Loans – Money that you borrow and must repay with interest.

o I have received student financial aid information concerning grants, scholarships, and the Federal Student Aid Programs.

o I have been advised that most forms of student financial aid are not available during the summer term.

o I have additional questions and will contact the SCCC Student Financial Aid Office at a later date.
