About the Agriculture Program at SCCC
Southwest Kansas, a major participant in world agriculture, has continued to be strong in cattle and crop production. However, other industries, such as swine and dairy, are now moving into southwest Kansas. Seward County Community College is striving to meet the needs of this rapidly changing agricultural environment by offering up-to-date classes in Animal Science, Agronomy and Agri-Business. Seward County Community College stresses the importance of acquiring the technical, business and communications skills required for success in today’s ag-related work force. With many agricultural industries in southwest Kansas, Seward County Community College can establish internships to give students hands-on experience. |
