Goals for 2009 - 2010

Continue to promote assessment of student learning and assessment of institutional effectiveness as an ongoing and all-encompassing process by providing information, time lines, and support to faculty and students.

Continue to implement procedures for faculty to analyze, interpret, utilize and report data from course, program, and institutional assessments and continue to assist in development and application of assessment plans.

Promote the use of rubrics in individual programs and courses

Encourage faculty to expand assessment of outcomes to include more courses at the program level

Support the tracking of projects and activities, which will assist faculty in analyzing their course and program level assessments.

Continue to emphasize the need for assessment feedback at the institutional, program, and classroom levels.

Support the Academic Quality Improvement Project (AQIP).
