COMMUNITY LECTURE SERIES
Establishing a lecture series would provide educational enrichment outside the classroom for students and community members alike. A variety of renowned speakers would enlighten this rural community on topics of global interest.
The overall look of the college is an important drawing point for students. A campus that is aesthetically attractive through landscaping or commissioned artwork, such as sculptures and paintings, not only helps attract new students to campus, but retains the students we have as well.
The community, through its generous donations, has continued to support the college over the years through a variety of projects: an electronic sign; instructional equipment, such as microscopes for the agricultural program; furnishings for the new facilities; outdoor classroom; bleachers for the ball diamond; dormitories; nursing skills lab; security system for the library; guest speakers; performance attire for the Sound Express Show Choir; a flight simulator and a variety of other gifts.
